A litte wee bit about me....

Hi, I am Kim! I live in central Canada in a tiny town of 1100 people. You have to appreciate Cold Winters, and Hot Summers to appreciate the prairies! I have lived here all my life, so this truly is HOME!

I've been married to my husband John for almost 19 years. We have 2 boys, Brett 17 1/2 and Bryce 16. And my third baby, Andy. I can't forget him. Our Beagle, and literally our third child. :)

About 15 years ago we purchased our 2 story, 100 year old brick house. It was then that our love for yesteryear began. And I believe it was also the beginning of my journey to this very place. God had a plan. And I am so THANKFUL! I am blessed to work at home, and be here for all the moments a mother doesn't want to miss. I am a self taught folk artist. I began painting, in order to fill my home with pieces of the past. It seemed to grow from there. I absolutely love designing. My favorite inspiration is anything old and primitive. I think you will see this reflected in most of my artwork.
